Noni Health Benefits
The noni tree is a small evergreen that thrives in the Pacific Islands, Southeast Asia, Australia, and India. It’s been known for years now as a medicinal plant that can maintain a healthy body. It seems like every part of the noni can be used for beneficial purposes, including its fruit, leaves, flowers, stems, bark and roots.
Global celebrities love drinking noni juice, because it provides lots of stamina and can bring out the best in every individual’s body. Famous model Miranda Kerr can’t be without Noni juice and has been a believer for years now, telling the Australian issue of Cosmopolitan magazine this:
“I’ve been drinking it since I was 14, and when I’ve got a long day ahead of me, it’s the one thing I can’t live without,” Miranda says.
With claims that Tahitian noni juice “supports your immune system, delivers superior antioxidants, increases energy, and allows greater physical performance levels,” Miranda doesn’t mind paying about $40 for a liter of it. Plus, the gorgeous model swears that it delivers a flawless complexion.
Noni juice is also said to aid conditions such as arthritis, depression, diabetes, gastric ulcers and even addictions. The FDA, however, has warned Noni manufacturers over and over, about inflating health claims that aren’t backed up by fact. Still, the juice is well-known and only seems to gain in popularity.
What’s in noni juice? Good stuff like strong antioxidants including vitamin C, vitamin A, niacin and iron give Noni it’s powerful punch. Polysaccharides, fatty acids and protein are also present in the special juice.
Noni juice doesn’t have the sweet, familiar taste of orange juice, for example. Instead, Noni tastes somewhat like smoky coconut, and that’s being kind. Apparently, it’s not the most thirst-quenching beverage on the planet, but then again, it’s super for your body, both inside and out.
