As the light of Summer grows softer, the blooming flower heads of goldenrod are a beacon in Nature indicating that Autumn is on its way. The botanical name for goldenrod, Solidago, means ‘to make whole’.

Come join me in learning how to incorporate this gorgeous plant into your home apothecary. In Western herbalism, goldenrod is used for sinus support, kidney support, and used for pain. Students will also learn about the energetics of the Autumn season and how we can work with plant medicine to support ourselves and our families during this changing time.

We will begin in the Smile Herb Shop garden and then move indoors to learn more and make an herbal infused oil. Students will leave with a goldenrod-infused oil sample.
