I’ve had plenty of experience with pain, and plenty of opportunity to experiment with herbal preparations to relieve pain.
This simple tea is incredibly effective for most things you’d take Aspirin or Tylenol for: headaches, backaches, menstrual cramps, minor arthritis pain. I originally developed it years ago for myself, and found that it works for all kinds of folks for all kinds of pain.
This is one of those blends that really “tastes like medicine”, but it works so well nobody seems to mind!
I hope you find it useful.
Pain Killing Decoction
1 part Willow Bark*
1 part Cramp Bark
1 part Black Cohosh*
½ to 1 part Ginger Root
Add 2 TBS of herbal mixture to 1 quart of boiling water. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 25 minutes. Strain.
Drink hot in ½ cup doses every 30 minutes until the pain is relieved.
*The herbs in this tea contain salicin, so if you are allergic to Aspirin or other NSAIDs, this is not the tea for you.
