Holy Basil/Tulsi Plant Meditation
We will be sitting with Holy Basil in different forms (tea, tincture, body oil) to connect with the plant and with our bodies.
We will be noticing how we feel, listening to our bodies and observing any sensations or impulses that we feel to help us gain an embodied understanding of this plant. I will then lead everyone through a guided meditation, specifically written for this plant, and we will gain a deeper understanding of the benefits and gifts this plant has to offer.
- Tulsi, or holy basil, is known as “the incomparable one”, and is described as one of the most sacred plants on earth in ancient Indian texts.
- A gentle uplifting adaptogen, tulsi supports a sense of inner peace and helps the mind and body cope with stress.
- Tulsi heightens awareness, opens the heart and encourages devotion and gratitude.
- Tulsi is renowned for its whole-body benefits and ability to balance and align all chakras.
*No prior meditation experience is necessary. Please bring a mug for tea, and a journal if you like.*
