In a saucepan boil two cups of water with a heaping tablespoon of dried elderberries, one cinnamon stick, two cardamom pods, two whole cloves, and honey. Bring the mixture to a boil, let is simmer for at least half an hour, then strain into a cup.
- Sage Infusion Tea: If you have a sore throat, this herbal blend is the perfect treatment. Steep one to two ounces of sage leaves in a liter of boiling water. Make sure to cover the mixture while it is steeping to keep the aromatic steam in. A fun way to do this is to make the mixture in a mason jar with a lid. Let it steep for around fifteen minutes.
- Vitamin C Infusion: We all know that vitamin C is important for a healthy immune system as well as a wide array of other health benefits. To make this blend, combine four tablespoons of rose hips, one tablespoon of lemongrass, one tablespoon of cinnamon chips, one teaspoon of hibiscus flowers, one teaspoon of fennel seed, and a half teaspoon of lemon peel. Boil four cups of water than remove from heat and steep mixture for 45 minutes.
