Join Smile Herb Shop celebrating 45 years of Herbs, Gardens, Intentional Living and Herbalism Education this October 19th, 2019 from 10 am – 4 pm and enjoy live music, food, garden tours, plant walks, lectures, crafts, natural product vendors, and more!
PARKING INFO: You may absolutely park in the Holy Redeemer Parking Lot directly ACROSS the street from Smile Herb Shop. There are two entrances. If the first entrance is gated, just a few feet down is an open entrance. Enjoy the free parking courtesy of our awesome neighbors, Holy Redeemer Church and School!

Join Claudia Joy Wingo & Betsy Miller with their senior students from the Mid-Atlantic School of Herbalism and explore the uses of herbs from your backyard. You’ll learn how to make herbal cough syrup, digestive tonic, insect spray, herbal salve for sprains & strains and more all from common plants in the garden. Printed recipes will be available so don’t miss out on this herbal medicinal & culinary adventure.

Interested in an individualized herbal tea targeted and blended just for you? Start your autumn off right by sitting down with the team of professional herbalists and their advanced students from Smile’s resident Mid-Atlantic School of Herbalism for a 15-minute herbal wellness check-in at our ‘pop-up festival herb clinic’ You’ll be seen by one of the professional herbalists from MASH; Claudia Joy Wingo, Betsy Miller & Colleen Zuntag with the assistance of their clinical students, who will put together a tasty herbal blend, specifically tailored for you. Sign up for your appointment at the MASH table. We’ll be taking appointment between 11 am-1pm & 2:45-4 pm.
